Office of Economic and Financial Affairs in Washington D.C. is an oversea office of the Ministry of Finance of Thailand. The Office's main functions are to pursue and analyze general economic, fiscal and financial affairs of the United States and other countries in the American continent. It also provides information about Thai economy to the general public. In addition, the office also functions as a coordinator in dealing with the United States Government and International Financial Institutions such as the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as well as other financial organizations such as banks and securities houses. The Web aims to diffuse economic information of both United States and Thailand and to bolster greater understanding of Thai economy.
